Rise the Awareness

have you ever heard ALS Ice Bucket Challenge? or you even already join it?

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water over the head to promote awareness of the disease Amyotropic Lateras Scelerosis (ALS).

ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that effects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. in the later stage of the disease may cause a total paralyzed to the patient.

the awareness went viral over these past months. the challenge dares nominated participants to be filmed having bucket of ice water poured on their heads and challenging others to do the same. a common stipulation is that nominated people have 24 hours to comply or forfeit by way of a charitable financial donation. The ALS association, which had raised $64 million in all of 2013, raised more than $10 million on august 2014 alone. thanks to the awareness.

so, have do the awareness? or like me, you don't have anybody to nominate you to do the challenge? :)
